Icon’s relationship with the Lauerus foundation goes back to 2006, when the award ceremony was held in Barcelona for the first time.
During each year since then we provide camera crews and producers to cover Laureus foundation work in the US and Spain.
Team Garmin Cycling shoot
Garmin USA contacted Icon to shoot 3 of team Garmin Sharp’s best cyclists for an interactive video to be released in the near future. Filmed in Girona at team Garmin’s headquarters.
Top Gear UK
The hyper-successful car series Top Gear came to Spain to film an episode (s20, ep.3), and asked icon to provide the best aerial team available. We filmed an high speed sequence on a disused airport strip south of Madrid using a twin engine helicopter with the Wescam system, 10 feet off the ground at speeds over 200 km/h.
UEFA – Women in Football
Icon International was in Portugal with various women’s national teams and has produced this great piece for UEFA on how each player became involved in football. These women are an inspiration for all young girls in sport.
