Icon International provided full production services in Madrid for two flagship pre-recorded segments of FIFA World Cup on FOX – After Hours with James Corden, featuring football superstars Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham. Produced during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the films formed part of FOX Sports’ nightly entertainment programme, combining comedy, celebrity interviews and original content throughout the tournament.
Working within an exceptionally compressed production schedule dictated by changing player availability, Icon assembled and delivered both productions in just a matter of days. Our team secured filming permits for multiple driving sequences, sourced specialist camera vehicle rigging, coordinated local crew and sound teams, secured the hero vehicle, managed location agreements, oversaw art direction and wardrobe requirements, and prepared every element of the production ahead of the arrival of the talent and international crew.
Both films combined cinematic car sequences with carefully staged interview and lifestyle moments, requiring meticulous planning while remaining flexible enough to adapt to the evolving schedules of two of world football’s biggest names. Delivering productions of this scale within such limited preparation time demanded rapid decision-making, trusted local relationships and seamless coordination across every department.
The finished segments became two of the standout features of the series, generating significant international attention across broadcast and social media. The interview with Kylian Mbappé proved especially memorable after James Corden challenged him to celebrate his next goal by miming the playing of a flute.
