For this project, Icon International moved beyond production services to develop the creative concept, direct, film and edit the official music video for Russian recording artist Bluemarine.
Working alongside fellow Australian filmmaker and photographer Fergus Stockhart, we set out to create a cinematic visual narrative that complemented the emotional tone of the song. Rather than relying on elaborate production design, the film embraces natural light, intimate performances and the timeless beauty of the Catalan coastal town of Altafulla, whose medieval streets and Mediterranean shoreline became central characters in the story.
The production was conceived as a boutique collaboration, allowing the creative team complete freedom to shape the visual language from concept through to final edit. By combining carefully observed performances with elegant location photography, the film delivers a restrained and atmospheric counterpoint to the song’s emotional intensity.
The finished video highlights another side of Icon International—developing original creative concepts and producing music films from the first idea through to final delivery.
