Icon International provided production services in Granada for DC Comics’ Visionnaires, a branded content series celebrating the artists behind some of the world’s most iconic comic book characters. Featuring acclaimed Spanish illustrator Jorge Jiménez, the production explored the creative influences, artistic process and personal story of one of DC’s leading contemporary talents.
Filmed throughout Granada, the artist’s hometown, the project connected Jiménez’s internationally recognised work with the city that helped shape his creative vision. Historic streets, dramatic Andalusian architecture and atmospheric public spaces provided a cinematic backdrop, reinforcing the relationship between place, identity and artistic inspiration while complementing the visual language that defines both the artist and the Visionnaires series.
Working closely with the creative team, Icon delivered comprehensive production services including creative location development, location scouting, filming permits, production management, local crew and on-the-ground logistics. Every location was carefully selected to enhance the editorial narrative, allowing the production to capture authentic moments while respecting the rhythm of a live city environment.
The finished film combines portraiture, architecture and storytelling to create an intimate profile of an artist whose work reaches millions of readers worldwide.
