On Any Sunday – The Next Chapter continues the legacy of Bruce Brown’s legendary 1971 documentary, bringing a new generation of riders, racers and enthusiasts to the screen through the same spirit of adventure, passion and motorcycle culture that made the original film a classic. Directed by Dana Brown and produced by Red Bull Media House and Freeride Entertainment, the feature documentary explores the people, stories and defining moments that continue to shape the world of motorcycling.
Icon International partnered with long-standing collaborators Red Bull Media House to deliver comprehensive production services for the film’s Spanish unit, supporting production during the dramatic final round of the MotoGP World Championship in Valencia. Filming took place as the championship reached its climax, capturing one of the season’s defining moments as Marc Márquez secured the MotoGP World Championship in front of a global audience.
Working within the fast-moving environment of an international motorsport event required meticulous production planning, rapid decision-making and seamless coordination between local authorities, race organisers and international production teams. Icon provided production management, local crew, filming logistics, technical support and on-the-ground coordination, ensuring the filmmakers could capture the intensity, emotion and spectacle of the championship finale while operating within the demanding constraints of a live sporting event.
Premiering at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, On Any Sunday – The Next Chapter introduced a new chapter in one of documentary cinema’s most influential franchises. The project further reflects Icon International’s expertise in delivering premium documentary production services in Spain, supporting internationally recognised filmmakers and production companies on landmark sports documentaries.
