Directed by Emmy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Zach Heinzerling and produced by Skydance Sports, the series follows Rafael Nadal through the final chapter of his extraordinary professional career, combining exclusive behind-the-scenes access with never-before-seen archive material to reveal the man behind one of tennis’ most enduring legends.
Filmed throughout Nadal’s final season on the ATP Tour, the series goes far beyond the results on court. Through candid access to Nadal, his family and closest team members, alongside contributions from sporting icons including Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and John McEnroe, RAFA explores the physical, emotional and personal journey of an athlete whose greatest opponent was often his own body. The four-part series premiered globally on Netflix on 29 May 2026.
