To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Recreativos Olesa, one of Spain’s longest-established gaming machine companies, Icon International was commissioned to create the centrepiece film for the company’s anniversary gala. Working closely with the client and the founding family, we developed the concept, researched the company’s history and wrote a bespoke script that traced its evolution from the 1950s to the present day.
The film combined archive material, newly filmed interviews with family members and original visual sequences created specifically for the production. In one of the film’s defining creative elements, the CEO was filmed against green screen before being seamlessly placed into AI-generated environments representing each decade of the company’s history. Costume changes and period-inspired settings created a visual journey through seventy-five years of innovation and family leadership.
Premiered during the anniversary dinner on a large-format LED screen, the film became the emotional centrepiece of the evening, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from guests and family members alike.
More than a corporate film, the project became a lasting record of the company’s history—created not only to celebrate a milestone anniversary, but to preserve the story of the family and business for future generations.
Beyond producing the film itself, Icon delivered the complete technical production for the event, supplying the LED screen, stage lighting, sound system and a team of specialist technicians to install, operate and manage the presentation throughout the celebration.
