Icon International provided production services in Barcelona for Sky Sports F1, supporting the filming of the network’s flagship promotional campaign featuring McLaren Formula 1 drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Shot during Formula 1 pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the production created the hero content used throughout Sky Sports’ coverage of the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship.
Working within the tight operational windows available between testing commitments, Icon managed the local production logistics, crew and location coordination, ensuring the production could maximise its limited access to two of the sport’s biggest stars.

Our role was to ensure the production ran efficiently from arrival to wrap, allowing the creative team to focus entirely on capturing the imagery that would define Sky Sports’ Formula 1 broadcasts throughout the season.
