2014 started where we left off with UEFA in 2013; running about all over Europe.
So far this year, we have filmed in Marbella, Madrid twice, Lisbon three times, Sevilla three times, Barcelona, Macedonia, Malta, Lithuania, Latvia, Bosnia and Munich where this piece was shot. Next we’re off to Hungary at the end of July for the U19 Championship. All content filmed by Felipe and JP, and directed/produced by Nick Bolger.

Laureus World Sports Awards 2014 Kuala Lumpur
Icon’s relationship with the Lauerus foundation goes back to 2006, when the award ceremony was held in Barcelona for the first time.
During each year since then we provide camera crews and producers to cover Laureus foundation work in the US and Spain.
World Class Bartender of the Year 2013 final in Barcelona
The four-part series was aired in November 2013 in over 100 countries around the world. The final episode of the 2013 Bartender of the Year was shot in Barcelona’s Monumental Bullring. Icon provided full production services for this large-scale UK TV production. We provided camera operators, multi-cam live set-up, scanner elite crane, steadicam, production, assistants, etc.
Top Gear UK
The hyper-successful car series Top Gear came to Spain to film an episode (s20, ep.3), and asked icon to provide the best aerial team available. We filmed an high speed sequence on a disused airport strip south of Madrid using a twin engine helicopter with the Wescam system, 10 feet off the ground at speeds over 200 km/h.
James Bond superyacht
As part of the food series we are filming in Turkey, we spent the day aboard the superyacht Regina, used in the latest James Bond film Skyfall. 5 weeks down, 2 to go.
UK TV series in Barcelona Bull Ring
Icon just provided full production services for a large-scale UK TV production filmed in the now unused Monumental Bull Ring. We were asked to provide camera operators, multi-cam live set-up, scanner elite crane, steadicam, production, assistants, etc. We’ll let you know what it was once it airs.
